Dr Jennifer Kraatz
PERIODONTIST
DClinDent(Perio), GDipDent, BOH(DentSc), BA(Psych)
Jennifer graduated from Griffith University, Queensland, in 2009 after which she worked in both the private and public sectors in Queensland and Tasmania. She returned to Griffith University to complete her periodontal specialist training.

​Jennifer has spent time as a clinical supervisor and lecturer at Griffith University and Oral Health Services Tasmania teaching undergraduate students in the subjects of general dentistry, periodontology, and dental implants. She held an adjunct lecturer position at the University of Tasmania and has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals.
​
Jennifer has held a seat as both state councilor and treasurer for the Australian Dental Association and is currently employed by the ADAQ as a consultant for Peer Review. She is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists, International Team for Implantolgy, Australian Society of Periodontology and Australian Dental Association.
​
​Outside of work Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and practicing Pilates.

Dr Kere Kobayashi
PERIODONTIST
DClinDent(Perio), MSc, BDSc, BSc(Hons), FRACDS (Perio)
Kere graduated in Dentistry from the University of Adelaide in 2003 and then worked as a uniformed officer in the Royal Australian Navy, both ashore and at sea. After working as a dentist for a number of years, he returned to Adelaide to undertake specialty training. In 2012, Kere graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in the field of Periodontics.
​
He has extensive experience in all aspects of treatment of periodontal disease, advanced bone grafting and dental implant techniques, treatment of peri-implant diseases and soft tissue grafting.
​
Kere has lectured extensively for over a decade; teaching and supervising dentists and dental students at the University of Adelaide and was a Periodontal Clinical Lecturer training hygienists at TAFE(SA).
​
Kere is a current member of the Australian Dental Association, New Zealand Dental Association, Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists, Australasian Osseointegration Society and Australian Society of Periodontology for which he is a past President.
​
He now lives on the Sunshine Coast to be closer to family and enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, travel and is an aspiring pit master.

Dr Tatiana Tkatchenko
PERIODONTIST
DClinDent(Perio), MRACSD(Perio), BDS, BHSc
Tatiana graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Otago (NZ). In 2008, she earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and later pursued a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics. During her time in university, she was the recipient of multiple awards for clinical and academic excellence.

She has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and has written several book reviews. She is passionate about continuing education and regularly attends a wide range of courses both domestically and internationally.
​​
Tatiana is a reviewer for the New Zealand Dental Journal and a Review Editor for Frontiers, a member of the Australian Dental Association Queensland advisory panel, and former vice president of the Australian Society of Periodontology Queensland. She is a member of the International Team of Implantology, Australian Dental Association, Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists, and a fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education.

Her involvement in clinical research and continuing education ensures she stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in periodontology and implantology. She is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment (surgical and non-surgical) of periodontal, peri-implant and mucogingival conditions, as well as in bone and soft tissue grafting.

When she’s not working, studying or mentoring, Tatiana enjoys spending time with family, reading, pilates, and traveling.

Kira Burvill
DENTAL HYGIENIST
BDSc(DH)
Kira graduated from The University of British Columbia, Canada, with a Bachelor of Dental Sciences, a 4-year qualification focused specifically on Dental Hygiene. Originally from Vancouver Island, Canada, Kira moved to beautiful Noosa in 2014.
​
She is registered with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and is an active member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia, Queensland Branch.
​
Kira loves meeting new patients. Her goal is to ensure that each of her patients is provided with comfortable dental care that is specifically tailored to meet their individual needs in a safe and calm environment. She is passionate about educating her patients about the link between oral health and how it can affect overall health, and is dedicated to helping her patients achieve periodontal and implant health long-term.

Outside of the dental field Kira enjoys being active outdoors, spending time with her family and going out for coffee.

Po-Ya Wu
DENTAL HYGIENIST
BDH, BPharm
After completing her Bachelor of Dental Hygiene at Griffith University, Po-Ya was instantly drawn to our beautiful beaches here on the Sunshine Coast. She had always found a passion in caring for peoples’ health, having previously studied and worked as a pharmacist, and decided to pursue a more hands on approach to caring for the community as a dental hygienist.
She believes that a welcoming and comfortable environment is vital for all dental visits and is devoted to making her patients feel at ease during their appointments. Her goal is to educate and provide individualised treatment to help her patients take control of and improve their oral health.
When Po-Ya is not in scrubs, she’s taking a stroll along the beach, going on an adventure hike, or in the kitchen cooking up a storm! Po-Ya also loves traveling overseas and experiencing different cultures and foods.
