Dr Tatiana Tkatchenko

DClinDent(Perio), MRACSD(Perio), BDS, BHScTatiana graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Otago (NZ). In 2008, she earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and later pursued a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics. During her time in university, she was the recipient of multiple awards for clinical and academic excellence.
She has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and has written several book reviews. She is passionate about continuing education and regularly attends a wide range of courses both domestically and internationally.
Tatiana is a reviewer for the New Zealand Dental Journal and a Review Editor for Frontiers, a member of the Australian Dental Association Queensland advisory panel, and former vice president of the Australian Society of Periodontology Queensland. She is a member of the International Team of Implantology, Australian Dental Association, Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists, and a fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education.
Her involvement in clinical research and continuing education ensures she stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in periodontology and implantology. She is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment (surgical and non-surgical) of periodontal, peri-implant and mucogingival conditions, as well as in bone and soft tissue grafting.

When she’s not working, studying or mentoring, Tatiana enjoys spending time with family, reading, pilates, and traveling.
