Dr Kere Kobayashi
PERIODONTIST
DClinDent(Perio), MSc, BDSc, BSc(Hons), FRACDS (Perio)Kere graduated in Dentistry from the University of Adelaide in 2003 and then worked as a uniformed officer in the Royal Australian Navy, both ashore and at sea. After working as a dentist for a number of years, he returned to Adelaide to undertake specialty training. In 2012, Kere graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in the field of Periodontics.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of treatment of periodontal disease, advanced bone grafting and dental implant techniques, treatment of peri-implant diseases and soft tissue grafting.
Kere has lectured extensively for over a decade; teaching and supervising dentists and dental students at the University of Adelaide and was a Periodontal Clinical Lecturer training hygienists at TAFE(SA).
Kere is a current member of the Australian Dental Association, New Zealand Dental Association, Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists, Australasian Osseointegration Society and Australian Society of Periodontology for which he is a past President.
He now lives on the Sunshine Coast to be closer to family and enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, travel and is an aspiring pit master.
